Dwight Yorke scored a hat-trick inside 21 magical minutes as a packed Old Trafford was treated to every trick in the book by a United team at the very peak of its powers.

Arsenal were annihilated as Keane and Solskjaer got in on the act with further goals in what was their best performance of the season.

Sheringham then made it six of the best for United with the final goal in injury time.

What happened after?

Man United finished the season as champions, Arsenal finished in 2nd place 10 points behind United.

The Gunners did gain some revenge the following season, and won the league at Old Trafford following a 1-0 win.
