First up is Eric Cantona against Sunderland. This goal was scored for Manchester United in December 1996.

This is one of Eric Cantona's most famous goals in what would prove to be his last ever season as a player.

An article on the Man United website speaks with great passion about the goal and the build up:

"There’s the turn on the halfway line, the one-two with Brian McClair, the insouciant chip and, most of all, the disdainful celebration – collar up, chest out, slow turn to allow his adoring Old Trafford faithful to marvel at him from every angle."

The celebration: 

The post goal celebration was iconic aswell. He spoke on the same article on the Man United website about that celebration. 

“I never celebrate a goal in the same way, because every goal is different. The energy is different, everything is different."

As the French legend celebrated, 55,000 adoring fans sung his name. Very few would have expected that to be one of Cantona's last goals for United.
