Salford City beat Portsmouth 4-2 on penalties to win the delayed 2020 final of the Papa John's Trophy
The attacking players from both sides struggled in normal time or extra time and both goalkeepers produced a series of fine saves to keep the game scoreless.
The final was delayed by almost a year from its original date last April after the first coronavirus lockdown curtailed the 2019-20 season.

Due to the 2021 final being held on the next day, Salford were only holders of the trophy for one day. The 2021 final was won by Sunderland.
They do have a replica trophy on show at their stadium.

Salford will be hoping to return to Wembley in May as part of the League 2 playoffs.
