Manchester United's search for a new executive vice-chairman is well underway after Ed Woodward announced his upcoming departure from the club.
Manchester United will now be looking to replace Woodward, but who are the candidates that could replace him?
Edwin Van Der Sar is the one that most United fans. The former Dutch goalkeeper spent six years at Old Trafford, where he won 4 Premier League titles and a Champions League in 2008. He is the current chief executive at AFC Ajax.
Many people do see Richard Arnold as the man to ultimately take the job. The last three men to occupy the role at Old Trafford (Peter Kenyon, David Gill and Woodward) have all been appointments made from within the club.
It seems likely that United will carry on with this way of doing things.
