It has been reported that Manchester City are ready to smash the all-time Premier League transfer record in order to sign Jack Grealish.
More transfer rumoursSpeculation has rumbled on since the end of the end of last season that Manchester City are interested in signing the midfielder.
An article in the Telegraph believes they are now willing to break the current league transfer record, set by Manchester United when they spent nearly £90million on Paul Pogba in 2016.
Grealish only signed a new contract with Aston Villa last summer so he definitely won't come cheap.
Manchester City news and stories
Other media reports have suggested that whilst the blues are ‘keen’ on signing Jack Grealish this summer, they will to sell a player before that can happen in order to free up funds and a space in the squad.
What do City fans think?
One Manchester City fan argued against the transfer on Twitter: "I rate Jack Grealish highly but signing him for over £100 million is a waste of money, he’s not even an upgrade on any of the current Manchester City players in that position."
