Is Antoine Griezmann Moving To Manchester City?

The agent of Barcelona star Antoine Griezmann is reportedly in 'good contact' with Manchester City.

The French forward has struggled at time during his spell at Barcelona. Could Pep get more out of him at Manchester City though? His previous form at Atletico Madrid had previously earned him a move to the club. 

He has spent his entire career playing in Spain and scored 220 goals in 557 appearances across three different clubs. 

A move to City would be out of his comfort zone but many believe that Barcelona want to sell him. Barca have some clear issues and many star players are expected to leave. 

Would he be a good signing for Manchester City?

We asked a number of Manchester City fans what they thought about this rumour. They gave us some interesting answers.

Mark, 54 from Middleton, is hopefully that the transfer comes off: "He is an amazing player. I really hope we sign him.

Katie, 27 from Salford, is less happy: "I don't think he is that good to be honest. We need to go all out for Harry Kane!"

Nick, 29 from Moston, added: "Yes, let's go and get him. The money is there. So why not?"

This Manchester City fan offered an interesting perspective.

Do I want Griezmann at City?
Definitely a NO for me.

But I also feel if there is someone who can really bring out the best out of Griezmann it is Pep Guardialo and this Manchester City side.

So it's more like Griezmann needs City more than City needs him.

Who else have City been linked with?

City have been linked with many other players, with being forwards. The departure of Sergio Aguero means they do lack a little bit of experience in that area of the pitch.

Who will they sign though?

Will it be Griezmann, will it be Kane? Will it be someone else? They have also been linked with Lionel Messi.
