Chris Murray Steps Down As Chairman Of Bury AFC

 Chris Murray has announced he has stepped down as Chairman of Bury AFC

In a statement on his Twitter profile, Chris announced that he was stepping down as Chairman of the club for personal resons.

 Chris Murray has been at the forefront of the club’s management team since the club was set-up in response to the expulsion  of Bury FC from the Football League in August 2019.

He played an instrumental role in operations as the new club embarked on life in the North West Counties League First Division North.

The club currently sit top of the table but have played just seven games due to the Coronavirus pandemic with the season currently paused.

The club recently released a statement documenting their new club structure.
