Man United Drop Points Again

Manchester United moved back above Leicester in second place, but the reds are now seven points behind leaders Manchester City.

West Brom took a shock lead after just 83 seconds as Mbaye Diagne outmuscled Victor Lindelof to head in from Conor Gallagher's cross.

United were finding it difficult to make inroads in a lacklustre opening period until Fernandes hooked Luke Shaw's cross into the top corner with his weaker left foot.

What are Man United fans saying?

One fan said on Twitter: "Big surprise. Quality left on bench while Marcus mediocrity and Antony mediocre "partner" Cavani. dumb and dumber shuffling aimlessly around in front of "brave" Dave.

"At least Ole safe owners don't  watch United or know results. #GlazersOut #WoodwardOut #JudgeOut"

Another said: "Frustrating, every team apart from I hate to say it city have been crap on the whole this season some good results share around but on the whole poor.

"However annoying it is unlike us & others city went big on defenders again & it's paying off for them. Poor league this season..."
