Ole Gunnar Solskjaer says Manchester United are not thinking about chasing down Man City despite bringing their sequence of 21 successive victories to a sudden halt with an impressive derby victory.
City still have what looks to be an unassailable lead at the top of the table, but having enhanced their own top-four chances, it will be a huge confidence boost to Solskjaer and his players.
The reds stunned City with a fast start and were ahead after a penalty was awarded inside the first 30 seconds when Gabriel Jesus fouled the impressive Antony Martial.
Luke Shaw added a second after 50 minutes, and it turned into a fairly comfortable afternoon for United.

PEP 💬 Congrats Man United for the victory – we conceded the first goal against a tough team and they are so strong so it was so difficult. After the first goal, for the first 5-10 mins we were a little bit out of it but after that we came back to the game. pic.twitter.com/DosTKm4ohw

What's stat?
City were beaten for the first time since November (2-0 defeat against Tottenham), thus ending a run of 28 games without defeat across all competitions.
Since the beginning of the 2019/2020 season, three of City's five home defeats in all competitions have come against Man United.
