We Look Ahead To The Premier League's Return

The international break will soon be over and the Premier League returns this weekend.

April is normally a crucial part of the season. It's where the title is almost decided and other teams at the bottom of the league start to get that sinking feeling.

Manchester City are currently 14 points clear at the top of the league. A successful month will mean that they are almost champions again.

Their first game after the break is Leicester City away. The previous encounter between the sides finished 5-2 to Leicester. It would be a huge shock if that was to happen again...

Watch: Manchester City 2 - 5 Leicester City

Manchester United will be hoping to recover from their disappointing Fa Cup exit and get closer to Manchester City. However, with City looking certain for the title, they will be hoping to secure their place in the top 4 and qualification for the Champions League.

United's first game back after the break is Brighton & Hove Albion. Their previous encounter was dramatic with United winning 3-2 after a 100th minute penalty from Bruno Fernandes.

Do you remember it?

A look elsewhere

Liverpool will be hoping to improve their own top 4 credentials when they travel to Arsenal. Arsenal still have a chance of making either the Europa League or Europa Conference League through their league form so that could be quite a game.

Chelsea should have a comfortable afternoon against West Brom. Tottenham face relegation threatened Newcastle and Everton face Crystal Palace on Easter Monday.
