The financially troubled Wigan Athletic have agreed a takeover with a consortium led by Bahraini businessman Abdulrahman Al-Jasmi.
The takeover comes after a long period of uncertainty at the club, who have been in administration since July 2020.
Wigan's financial problems played a huge part in their relegation from the Championship last season after the suffered a 12 point deduction due to them entering administration.

Wigan are currently 21st in League One but have won three out of their last five matches. They will be fairly confident of avoiding another relegation.
Fans will be confident that the good times are on their way back and they will be hoping to see some progress over the next few months.
