Manchester City Win Carabao Cup

Manchester City won the League Cup for the fourth successive season after a 1-0 win over Tottenham at Wembley.

Manchester City defender Aymeric Laporte rose above Moussa Sissoko to head home Kevin de Bruyne's free-kick on 82 minutes.

The match had an attendance of 8,000 supporters, this included 2,000 from each club. It was wonderful to hear noise inside Wembley again.

Guardiola told the BBC and media outlets: "It's nice, four Carabao Cups in a row, it means consistency in the team to be there. We beat Arsenal and Manchester United on the way so we can say we deserved to win this competition."
