Cavani Signs New Contract With Manchester United

Edinson Cavani has signed a contract extension at Manchester United that will keep him at the club until June 2022.

The 34-year-old is having a great end to the season and has scored eight goals in his last seven matches. 

After signing the contract, Cavani told media outlets: 

"I have developed a great affection for the club and everything that it represents.

"I feel a deep bond with my team-mates and the staff who work behind the scenes."

Despite United fans not being able to see him due to Corona virus restrictions, the forward already has his own chant. What do you think of this?

Since moving to Europe, Cavani has become a superstar. He scored a record 200 goals for PSG in just 300 over appearances. Before that, he made his name for Napoli in Serie A.
