The Manchester United Supporters' Trust has urged co-chairman Joel Glazer to engage with Manchester United fans to avoid a repeat of huge anti Glazer protests at Old Trafford.

Manchester United's Premier League match against Liverpool was called off after about 200 fans broke into the ground.

Some Manchester United fans, whilst liking some elements of the letter, believe it doesn't go far enough.
One fan says: "Letters .......yesterday’s protest and fans not spending at OT carries a much stronger message. Sorry, but MUST haven’t had that much impact since the Glazers first took over."
Another fan argued:
... hitting them where it matters, profits. Our protest should be on not buying merchandises, cancel all subscriptions, no season tickets.

Malcolm Clarke, Chair of the Football Supporters' Association, has also spoken:
"I think we may see more protests.
“The vast majority of people there yesterday were peacefully protesting, but as inevitably happens on these occasions the focus gets directed towards the small number who cross the line."
