13/05/21 Update - The final will now be played in Porto
UEFA wants to give Manchester City and Chelsea 4,000 tickets each for the Champions League final on May 29 at the Ataturk Stadium. Foreign travel from the UK to Turkey might be allowed from May 17.
It had been suggested that Wembley could have been a potential destination for an all-English final if UEFA had decided to move the showpiece occasion.
Villa Park had also been linked.
A UEFA statement reads:
"The UEFA Champions League final will take place in Istanbul on May 29 with a limited number of spectators and we are assured the temporary lockdown which is in force until May 17 should not have any impact on the match.
UEFA continues to work closely with the Turkish Football Federation and the local and national authorities to stage the match safely."
UEFA had originally aimed to fill 50% of the Ataturk Stadium's capacity (75,000) but the current lockdown measures in Turkey mean it could be less than this.
This is of course Manchester City's first time reaching the Champions League final.
Will you be applying for a ticket to the biggest night in City's history?
