Andy Bishop has played for a number of teams across Greater Manchester.
Bishop is still registered as a player for Stalybridge Celtic in the Northern Premier League.
His best run of form came with Bury between 2006 and 2013. During this time, he scored 83 goals in 264 appearances. He was part of a Bury squad in the 2010/2011 season that won promotion from League Two.
Since leaving Bury, he had spells in Non-League playing for Wrexham, Halifax, Southport and Hyde before moving onto Stalybridge.
A look through Twitter indicates that Bishop is very well thought of.
😂 can’t wait Andrew. One of the very best finishers Iv ever seen. You should still be fresh. Only moved when the ball was in the box 😂🙌🏼⚽️🔥💙 pic.twitter.com/EFgjnpm1kj
