Radcliffe had a spell just before half-time where they created a few chances but the NPL Premier Division side couldn’t turn one of them into a goal and the score remained 1-0 to Avro going into half-time.

Oumar Camara nearly helped make it 3-0 when he intercepted a Radcliffe backpass but there was no one else inside the box to get on the end of his cross.

Radcliffe created a sequence of chances in stoppage time - eventually scoring thanks to Akpa-Akpro, but it proved to be nothing more than a consolation goal for the North Manchester side as the ref blew the whistle for full-time not long after Avro restarted the game.
