Daniel James believes that the European Championships can help him and other Manchester United players get over the Europa League final.
His Manchester United side missed out on their trophy since 2017. In the agonising penalty shootout defeat, James managed to score his penalty.
Dan James on his penalty v Villarreal: "It went fine but I'd be lying to you if I didn't say I was a little bit nervous. I was confident to step up. You have to put yourself in those moments. Thankfully it went in the back of the net. It could be (useful) at the Euros." #MUFC

In an interview with Sky Sports, he said the following:
“It was gutting for all of us really but, for me and a lot of the other players, it’s not the end of our season,” he said. In football you just have to get back up and get on with it.
“Thankfully we don’t have to wait until next season to do that, we can go into the Euros and a different environment and look forward to getting back out on the pitch.”
“(The penalty) went fine but I’d be lying if I didn’t say I was a little bit nervous. I was confident to go and step up, you have to put yourself in those moments because it’s going to happen in your career."
Like his teammates who are playing for countries all over Europe, Dan James is looking forward to the tournament.
This is his first international tournament as a senior international and he will be hoping his Wales can get close to the performances that dazzled Europe in 2016.
In a recent match for his country, James scored the winner in a tense clash against England's upcoming opponents Czech Republic.
