We're So Proud Of Marcus Rahhford

England's squad contained 26 heroes. We choose not to focus on the racist idiots. Instead, we will look at all of the players who brought a country together this summer.

First up is Marcus Rashford. The video below contains some of Rashford's goals for England

Rashford made his debut in a Europa League match in 2016. He scored two goals on his debut and that was the start of things to come.

Since first coming onto the scene, he has won the Fa Cup, League Cup and Europa League. He also runners up medals in the Fa Cup and Europa League alongside the same medal in the European Championships.

Of course, Marcus Rashford is far more than a footballer now. A former teacher of his said this: "On the pitch, he is a fantastic player and off the pitch, he is speaking up and standing up for the rights of children. It is important for the children that his face is there for them because he totally inspires them."

We're not the only people proud of Rashford.

Manchester United tweeted this: "As a player. As a person. As an inspiration to our club and our supporters. As a representation of hope that there is plenty more good than bad in the world."

The Manchester Evening News then posted: "Love in the face of hate - this is how Mancunians respond to racism."

People across Greater Manchester have continued to show their pride of a man who truly represents the best of us.

Bruce Gorrie added: "All the racism and bigotry can get you down but there are local residents in Manchester covering up the abuse on the Rashford mural and leaving notes saying hero and role model."

We can't wait to see Rashford back in action once the new season starts. A front three of Mason Greenwood, Marcus Rashford and Jadon Sancho has the potential to be very exciting for Manchester United and England.
