Manchester United agree deal for Cristiano Ronaldo

It has been reported across the world that Cristiano Ronaldo is having a medical in Lisbon ahead of his return move to Manchester United. We'll have more as we get it.

A statement from the Manchester United Communications Department:

"Manchester United is delighted to confirm that the club has reached agreement with Juventus for the transfer of Cristiano Ronaldo, subject to agreement of personal terms, visa and medical."

It looks like Ronaldo is returning to Manchester United then!

Reports suggest that Manchester City have pulled out of the race to sign Cristiano Ronaldo from Juventus. It has emerged that Manchester United are preparing a contract offer for the Portugal forward that could see him return to Old Trafford 12 years after he was sold to Real Madrid

City had hoped to bring Ronaldo winner back to the Premier League after his agent, Jorge Mendes, held talks with Juventus officials in Turin on Wednesday over a potential move.
