Mason Greenwood was clearly very happy with contribution to the match. This was his third goal of the season already.

Raphael Varane cruised through that game. Unruffled, experienced, serene. He was excellent.

Next up for Manchester United is a home match against Newcastle United at Old Trafford. The reds should be able to feature Cristiano Ronaldo. On the last occasion that the forward faced the Geordies, he managed to score three and Man United won 6-0. I think most of those going to Old Trafford would see that as an acceptable outcome.
