United blew the home side away in the first half and went onto win 3-1.
Next up for United was Sheffield Wednesday and another dramatic afternoon. The reds dominated the game but struggled until Steve Bruce had two of his finest moments.

United won the rest of their games and went onto be the first champions of the Premier league. This was their first title in 26 years.
