When Scott McTominay scored a late goal to clinch a 2-0 Manchester Derby win, very people few would have guessed that it would be the last goal they saw live...
The Corona-virus pandemic and resulting lockdown has meant games have been mostly played in empty stadiums over the last 12 months.
There has of course been increased TV coverage in this period with every United and City being broadcast live and our Football League clubs have also been broadcasting games on their own platforms and websites.
It's just not the same is it?
Some of our Non-League sides got to experience crowds at the start of the season.
FC United of Manchester, the club set up by disenfranchised Man United fans in 2005, were allowed crowds of up to 600. The Red Rebels progressed to the First Round of the Fa Cup in what would have been a huge financial boost to the club.

Our friends at Bury AFC are embarking on their first season as a club. A small group of fans got to watch their first few matches as a club. Like FCUM, their season was eventually suspended but they still had a few great moments.
We're all missing the match equally now...
What do you miss most though? The pies? The pints? Or the wonderful feeling when the ball flies in and you hug the person that's unfortunately stood next to you...
