The FC United manager was in philosophical mood after his side's defeat. He tweeted: " In life you do one or two things….you give up or you get on!!! I’m old school and giving up just isn’t in my DNA. 

"Roll the sleeves up, take the criticism and stay positive. In life there will always ups and downs, enjoy the ups and learn from the downs…let’s get on with it!!"
